I submitted my application for a Fulbright grant to Romania on August 1, 2015. I received my acceptance letter from the DC office on March 2, basically seven months later. Now a month later, I still am waiting for my papers to arrive from Romania with details of my grant, due to arrive by snail mail sometime in May.
This much I know from my email correspondence with Mihai Morohiu at the commission:
My grant is for the full academic year (nine months) with fall semester (October though January) at UNATC in Bucharest and spring semester (February through June) at Babeș-Bolyai in Cluj.
Since I am within the six-month window, I may initiate the process for medical clearance; however, I’ll wait until the grant papers arrive. By then, our semester will have ended and, hopefully, I will have lost some weight.
